A Constant State of Reinvention

Look around. Miami continues to experience exciting growth and development with the addition of trendy new hotels, celebrity restaurants, arts and culture destinations, and much more. So how does an already existing brand like a stylish urban hotel or a major landmark attraction stay relevant and compete for business in an ever-changing marketplace?

We recently answered these questions during a Public Relations 101 workshop that we conducted with one of our clients. It boils down to the following:

  1. Think grassroots: Public relations alone is not going to garner the results you are looking for without the combination of a strategic marketing plan, social media outreach, smart partnerships and grassroots tactics to directly influence your audience.

  2. Get creative: Introduce innovative new guest experiences, packages and promotions that resonate with the press and public. Simply announcing a new menu or offering a romance package with roses, champagne and spa treatments might get you a mention or two, but are you really maximizing your opportunity to create bigger buzz and exposure for your brand?

  3. Tap into trends: Always be on the lookout for the next new trend or even create your own. Most importantly, be a voracious reader of news and pay attention to key dates and major events to see how your brand might be able to fit.

In short, by doing the same thing, you will continue to get the same results; thus losing market share and business to a shiny new brand.

At Pinzur Communications, we challenge our clients to think differently and to step outside the box for transformational results. It’s what we like to do best!
